Description
Thinkery is Austin’s home for why and how.
It’s a place where science and families play side by side, where people connect with ideas by doing, making and experiencing. It’s a foundry for a new generation of innovators and creative problem solvers – and it’s a heck of a good time!
Masks are required at Thinkery.
Most of our visitors are children who are still too young to be vaccinated. Because of that (and the number of still-unvaccinated adults and teens we serve), Thinkery requires masks for all staff and visitors older than 24 months.
If you or any member of your group are not able to wear a mask for any reason, we invite you to reschedule your visit for a future date when these requirements are no longer in place.
Please ensure your masks and gaiters follow CDC guidance. We provide disposable masks as needed.
Museum Policies:
Mask Policy: All guests over the age of 24 months will be required to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth while in the building. Please contact us before reserving your tickets if you have any questions.
Food and beverages are not allowed in the Museum, with the exception of: water, breast milk, or formula. We encourage planning for snack time before or after your visit. You may also leave and re-enter the building during your session.
Strollers are allowed inside the Museum. We encourage you to leave strollers stowed in your vehicle if you are able to do so. Designated stroller parking areas are also available inside the museum.
Guests who do not follow the above guidelines will be asked to leave or reschedule their visit for a later date when the measures are no longer in place.
Tickets are available online one week prior to the day of admission.
Limited walk-up tickets are also available on the day of admission.
